I’m Neil Edwards, a trial lawyer at Childers, Schlueter & Smith in Atlanta. I represent people harmed by negligent medical care, unsafe drugs, and corporate misconduct, with a strong record involving SJS and TEN cases.
I’m a trial lawyer with more than a decade of courtroom experience. Early in my career, I defended nurses, doctors, medical practices, and Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation. Today, I use those same skills to prosecute civil cases for everyday people who have been harmed by negligent medical care, unsafe drugs, and corporate wrongdoing.
At Childers, Schlueter & Smith (CSS), I have helped clients achieve record-setting verdicts and impactful settlements, including precedent-making results against pharmaceutical companies. My work is particularly focused on cases involving Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN), rare but devastating skin reactions often caused by medications. These cases require a deep understanding of manufacturer, retailer, medical, and pharmacy liability.
I represent injured individuals and families, often against major pharmaceutical companies, national pharmacy chains, and large healthcare providers. I approach every case with thorough preparation, creative strategy, and a commitment to pursuing the best possible outcome.
I earned my law degree cum laude from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 2009, where I was a member of the Moot Court Board, Mock Trial Team, and the Dean’s List. I also hold a B.A. from the University of Virginia. I’m licensed to practice in Georgia and am a member of the American Association for Justice and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
